Writer-director Tara Johns and producer Barbara Shrier will present The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom on August 21st at the Eastern Townships Film Festival.

This young festival was created by a small group of  film lovers wanting to promote the beauty of the Eastern Townships through their passion for cinema. The artistic directors created an exciting program of films -– to be screened from Aug.18th to 21st– that will optimize the bucolic nature of the festival setting.  Each film will be screened in an environment related to the settings in the film – a documentary about nature at Douglass Beach, a religious-themed film projected in the Knowlton Church and The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom will be screened at the Lac-Brome Theatre!

A wonderful week-end not to be missed!
