We are pleased to announce that the short film Corporal Shrimp (Caporal Crevette) will be broadcast on Télé-Québec this December. The film will also be available on the Télé-Québec website for three weeks during the holiday season as part of their popular Ciné-Cadeau program.

Synopsis : Parachuted in the middle of the jungle, the brave men of Corporal Crevettes commando unit are sent on a perilous mission to seize a formidable Soviet fortress.

Directed by Christian Laurence, featuring the voice talents of Roy Dupuis, Pat Robitaille and Francis Leclerc and produced by Palomar and Facteur 7, the film has already received numerous prizes, notably the BeTV prize at the Brussels Short film Festival in 2009.

The short was produced in conjuction with Palomars baseball hit Un été sans point ni coup sûr (A No-Hit, No-Run Summer) and was released theatrically along with the feature film in August, 2008.
