Actor Roy Dupuis has confirmed his participation in Brain Freeze, Julien Knafo’s new zombie pic, slated to be shot next winter.

The fact that this film is an elevated zombie picture, with an ecological and political bias is one of the reasons Roy wanted in, as he shared in an interview with La Presse yesterday. “It’s a very unique project. The script is strong and the trailer captivated me. It’s the first time I’ve seen anything resembling a zombie film that is so beautiful to look at.  The images, the texture, the universe depicted – it’s all so beautifully rendered.  And the environmental cause speaks right to me. Sure, it’s a zombie film and as such is somewhat violent. But Julien’s artistic approach makes it an auteur-driven film. One that I want to be a part of.”
